It's back! The World's Greatest Drag Race returns with 10 of the world's best supercars and sports cars facing off in an epic quarter-mile sprint for glory... and ultimate bragging rights! This year's field includes all 10 contenders from Motor Trend's 2014 Best Driver's Car Powered by Mobil 1 (https://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialMobil1).
We have the Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI & Volkswagen Golf GTI -- all gathered together on an abandoned airstrip at El Toro Marine Base to find out which car is the fastest. Obviously these 10 competitors display a wide range of power and performance, so why do we continue lining them up for one, over-the-top drag race?... Because We Can!

audi? Do the next drag with: gt-r, porsche 911(choose the engine), audi
RS7, mercedes e63amg sedan and some other newer cars.

Might be a little bit pricey but I would splooge all over the screen at the
very sight of it.
Well, the GTR won this race. Why?
GTR classed as GT3 spec sportscar, it competitor goes to SLS, Viper, 458,
911 GT3, MP4, M4, Z06 and Aston martin DB9. In this group of cars, GTR is
the quickest beside 12C.
911 991 Turbo S’s classed as grand tourismo spec. Compete with Ferrari F12,
Aventador, Aston Martin one-77 or V12 etc… It slower than both Ferrari
F12 and Aventador in quater mile. Not saying it’s a bad car. They both
still better and quicker than Corvette.
Also the stupid MT engineer runs 91 octane+ octane booster which’s useful
for decrease hp. Nissan Nismo GTR is NOT for acceleration. Look at it’s
torque band later than track pack.

I’m not trying to be mean, but the GT-R does 0 – 100 kp/h in 2.1 seconds
(a.k.a world’s fastest accelerating car). and the Porsche 911 turbo S does
it in 2.9 seconds. i think you need to do this race again but with a
different driver in the GT-R Nismo please? because i know that you guys
know thee GT-R is the fastest accelerating car in the world as i have
already mentioned earlier in this comment. and i could tell the the lower
experienced driver was in the 2015 nismo GT-R, because in the world’s
greatest drag race 3, the GT-R beat an SLS AMG Mercedes Mclaren, so how can
a more powerful version lose to a German piece of scrap?
How professional drivers are they………. on scale of one to bananas????

Nissan is overrated!!! Porsche gives you speed, comfort, luxurity, and can
easily be taken on a Race track! 911 is a better car overall!

To those who say “why isn’t Ferrari or Lamborghini or w.e in this race, it
sucks!”
Oh please…if you could take one thing away from this video, it’s that
most of these cars are around or under $100K, with the exception of the
Porsche ($200K or so). The whole point of this drag race is relativity to
cars you see on the road (e.g. Ford) to give you a real perspective on how
fast the others are. This is called diversity. It’s good to see. Also, note
that everything is 2015. They essentially took a variety of NEW cars and
put them against each other.
Wow, that blue Porsche is badass! I bet aero dynamics had a lot to do with
it as well. Where are the Corvettes? Back in the day I remember back in
the 90’s when 14’s were some of the best 1/4 times out there for cars.

Get some professional drivers. The GT-R had a run in 11,1 sec at the 3rd
drag race and now even though the Nismo has 600hp they had again 11,1 sec?

Porsche can never win against gtr nismo.
This race is crap and it has uncompetitive cars like fiesta st and subaru
The top 2 cars are only 3 seconds faster than the lowest economy cars, and
like $150,000 more expensive hahaha. Buying exotics is such a waste of
money.
