APRILIA RSV4 factory ftw!!!!!
Wtf is wrong with these ppl
i chose the sp, eventhough it’s not the best
Oh yeah? Well I’ve got an SV650, lol.
Excellent review. I was searching for videos on the SP and came across
this. Little did I know the HP4 would be in it. I just love it when the
bike I chose to buy wins all these shootouts. They are right: it is very
easy to ride. I still love my Honda’s though.
I wish I would have known growing up that there would be a profession
called “automotive journalist”! Testing cars and motorcycles and gettin
paid for it sounds pretty damn cool to me!
MCN combo of these two is mega. Another knock of a review. Great bikes all
around. I’d own them all if I could.
why the full on HP4, vs a base RSV4r, panigale s… they should have done
the pani r and the full on rsv4 r aprc etc… i dont think it was a fair
comparison… just my $.02
I like your vids. It’s bear o”clock. I’ll remember that one.
Why do you take 1199S, HP4 but NOT RSV4 Factory…?
In terms of sound, suspension and brakes RSV4 is king imho.
In the US the Fireblade is cheaper than a Ducati 899 panigale in both OTD
price and insurance! That in itself is a huge bargain over the competition.
Only way you would every pay that price for the other bikes is if they had
10k+ miles on them and bald tired and no oil!
What about the zx10r? Good video anyways!
WHY DIDN’T YOU BRING THE RSV4 FACTORY???? CAN’T COMPARE THE “R” VERSION
(WITHOUT OHLINS SUSPENSION etc.) WITH ALL THE OTHERS… AND STILL COMES OUT
SECOND… P.S. BMW PROMO????????????? HEHEHEHEHE……….
I love these mcn guys videos they tell you an show you how it really is,
but can we really compare Honda cbr versus bmw and the other Italian bikes
don’t think so its not a fair hand shake, if you would to strip the bmw the
tc off the bmw and you would not be able to ride this bike even around the
town. However bmw has always been great at cars an now bikes, im really
ashamed Yamaha they need to get it back and put for sure put the r1 on a
diet wow its a pig in the front end but I still love the sound it makes…
the SP was simply made to sell to the Honda fanboys… No one would spend
16k+ on a bike that hasn’t been updated for 7 years…. I love my cbr1k
but….. if I was going to spend that money I would defently buy the
standard s1000rr or for a couple more G-bars buy the Aprila with that nasty
V4
ชอบมาก cbr 1000f
What’s up with all these biased reviews? I already knew who they were
going to select as the winner even before the clip started. A bunch of
Europeans doing a review on 3 Euro bike vs 1 Japanese bike…,really? It’s
not a surprise they showed the Blade at the back of the pack. Whenever you
watch motorcycle racing, most of the time, the Jap brands are doing the
smack down. The S1000rr may be fast because of all the tuning and tweaks
that took place at its manufacturer along with its feather weight but we
all know the ZX10R has it beat. Remember Kawasaki is the King of the Hill
when it comes to all out balls to the wall speed…Remember year 2000 when
they brought out the mighty ZX12R and all those little European bitches
with their “Gentlemen Agreement”. I’ve seen few videos of the ZX10R
beating the S1000rr on European soil. Don’t be ashamed to show it. Simply
put, the Japs make better all around bikes for the money. Just remove
all the restrictions on the ZX10R and see what happens to these Euro bikes
on the street or track with equal talented riders.
Cbr means business. I just got #268 out of the 1500 they brought to the
states. Everybody is asking me if I think it’s worth the money. Of course I
think it’s worth the money. However I have friends who wouldn’t ride a
honda if you gave it to them. They like kaws and zooks.
Good golly miss Molly. To say the BMW makes the Blade feel like a 600 is
quite a statement! Amazing.
Great video MCN, cheers!
yeap, its beer o’clock.
Honda Yamaha and Suzuki are both slacking, Honda needs to beef up the
blades engine, Yamaha need to let go off the Crossplane crankshaft engine
and put the r1 on a diet, and Suzuki… well I heard Suzuki is going
bankrupt that’s why the gsxr600 has been the only bike with a full revision
the 2011 and newer 750’s have the same exact engine as the k8’s and the L1
GSXR1000 update has only been muffler changes. Kawaski has been the only
jap company that has been taking notes of its competition. I mean the pior
to the S1000RR release bmw was bragging about it making a game changer
super bike it was all over mags and online. ducati 1098 was just as fast as
it competitors and aprila came out swinging like a boxer ready to fight….
ITALIAN SUPER SPORTS RULE
Best the BMW and Honda.
If they’re gonna bring out the Hp4, they could have at least brought out
the rsv4 factory and Panigale R
How old is the ‘Blade design now, 7-8 years with only some minor changes?
Alot of stupid comments. Dont get me wrong we all love bikes but its clear
that only a few of us ride for years.
Nice on-bike shots btw MCN, cheers!
Can we see this test again, with the fireblade sp, 1199panigale r, s1000rr
hp4, rsv4r factory and the zx10r? Think thats more even. The s1000rr is the
top of the range as also the fireblade sp, but not the ducati and the
aprilia. Why?!?
Ibsabur check this video the bmw beat ducati esasy
Honestly MCN… putting the standard RSV4 against the HP4 and Panigale? The
RSV4 Factory is more of a match in every way!
Man this guy is used to the HP4.. he could never ride the blade to its
limit…
mag meine zxr 750 ! ;-)
Japan if you are watching this, step up your game!
John Mcguiness Rides Honda…He’s not doing Too bad beating other
pretenders at IoM TT.
ZX is still the best bike outta Japan
Please do a video with the HP4, 1199R, Factory RSV4R, ZX10R, and Fireblade
SP! It would be more of an even match-up. Other than that great video as
always!
What’s up with the Panigale’s left side headlight/LED? Appears to be
blinking during the rider review. And hell yeah to beer o’clock! :D
Wheres the RSV4 Factory!?!?!?! whats with the rsv4 hate on these 2
comparos?
Why wouldn’t you put the 1199R on there or the factory RSV4 R, but you put
the HP4 in this test with a full system Akro? Those are the comps to the
HP4
Great video, guys! Keep up the quality :D
They used top of the range aprillia cbr and the hp4 but only the s model of
the Ducati bit unfair
Top notch review.
I have a question when lowsiding like at 1:34 isnt there risk for your legg
to be cut off? 😛 i mean cause of the friction with your knee and the raod
and the bikes velocity thats points on the oposite side of that friction
😛
honda is the best
Oh, this one feels lazy, this one lacks power, this one is too stiff –
dude, seriously? You spoiled brat haha :)
That 1:09 moment!!
I donna that Hondas got character
what track is this?
wow,rsv4 great,
Songs anyone?
Also as it has been said, why not the RSV4 Factory…?
any thoughts on how the MV Agusta would measure up?
Dear MCN, great vid and please get Neil Hodgson to come back and give his
opinion on other bikes you review in future. I loved his honesty and
enthusiasm when he shared his opinion which really feels like a breath of
fresh air to watch in motorcycling journalism these days
