The 2012 cross country reid season ended in style over the weekend in Kedong region in Longonot, Naivasha.
The participants had to endure harsh terrain, muddy and rocky sections. The reigning car section champion Nish Lakhani was unlucky as he was forced out of competition on day one with a broken engine in his Kenya cat hybrid. Overnight leader Joost Zuubrier retired early on the final day on Sunday after his car got stuck in mud. Defending quad champion Shazar anwar won the category ahead of Vincent Boulanger.
