They dont explain anything as deep as you do; They just glance over the
press release stats and show you footage; Nobody has a show like yours.
Keep applying
Well, i Think ur a Genious, That was a fast, clear and interesting
Review.Great To be in a Suit, am sure u deserve this job more than anyone,
atleast u know what ur talking about,Good luck bro .
So, basically, you’re saying you don’t what the fuck is going on, lol… 😉
Love your videos, keep ’em coming — I’m learning a lot..! :] BTW, are you
a Mechanical engineer?
I think if you referenced the figures more, the discussion would be
clearer. The hammer was a bit of a distraction, so if you instead point to
each figure as you discuss the related concepts, the video will be easier
to follow. Great job overall, and I would definitely recommend you for this
job, especially in light of your demonstrated knack for video journalism in
your other videos.
I think people make way too big a deal out of the Porsche 911’s polar
moment of inertia when compared to a mid-engined car. Yes, the rear-engine
design isn’t as agile as a mid-engine design. But it is better, in this
way, than a front-engine or even front-mid engine design. Consider when end
of the car pivots and which end “swings” in a turn.
@jimbolightningy I didn’t have a 2012 Porsche Carrera S in the driveway,
and I didn’t want to include an image that I didn’t have rights to, so no
car was included. That’s what Motor Trend is for!
Someone give this man a job already! I just listened to motor trend’s
description and this guy fits the mold PERFECTLY! Young, knowledgeable,
comfortable on screen, passionate, and an engineer, you can’t ask for any
better.
You could not be more perfect for this job description. With all of your
automotive and engineering knowledge, YouTube experience, and most
importantly, passion and enthusiasm, you are clearly the best fit! BEST OF
LUCK!
Excellent video man. You should win this and you deserve it also. I also
like it because you clearly summarize the genius of Porsche. The Germans
know what they’re doing by the means of engineering.
i think you should try relaxing your eyebrows every now and then to add a
little more dynamic to your expressions. your hand gestures appear a little
too forced (i’ve noticed this in several videos). i’d say it’s more
important for auto journalists to be entertaining and likable than being
able to explain well, not that the latter isn’t important
All that weight pushing down on the rear wheels of the 911 give it the
great traction and acceleration it is known for! Downside is it gives the
car quite an unpredictable handling, well at least in the older 911s where
the car would go from initial understeer in a corner to snap oversteer with
very little warning and you’ll find yourself facing the wrong way! Now
through better chassis and suspension design, Porsche engineers have
managed to make the handling a lot more predictable.
When you were talking about weight dist I was so sure you were gonna bring
up how they moved the rear wheels back. I’m interested in knowing if doing
that really helped handling, or if it just helped ease of handling.
@endlsswing More like I need to relax more in general haha. I was just
frustrated trying to cram everything into 60 seconds. My hands go crazy
sometimes, they’re out of control. Thanks for the insight haha.
I’ve looked at all your videos, and while I haven’t been commenting, I’ve
learned quite a bit. You explain things very plainly, are easy to listen
to, and come across as very knowledgeable. Personally, if you started
hosting Motor Trend, I’d actually start watching it!

the winner had previous experience hah

Well I am going to be a PE! 😀

@gentle285 truth.
no matter what your facial expressions are you make some great videos
I think you have hurt people instead of defending them 😉
Now that Jessi had taken the position you contested for, you can go host
top gear usa

porsche engineers are probably the only people that know how magnets work
Your current audience are compromised of either auto enthusiasts or
engineers. Continue with the engineering terminology please 🙂

60 seconds are just not enough

definately needs more time. Loved the use of a hammer, simple but
informative.
