i think flying cars need to take more of a helicopter approach. like they
said, planes need a lot of space to take off and land, where as helicopters
do not, and helicopters can hover in a single spot, where as only billion
dollar jet fighters can do that right now……. so if you’re waiting for a
parking spot, pretty sure you’d rather have a helicopter like craft that
can hover and wait for a spot, or if you want to land by a shopping mall or
house, it’s more efficient to be able to slowly come down like a helicopter
instead of having to circle the whole block and then come down miles of
runway just to land………
If we had flying cars, GTA would become really boring
Another reason why flying cars is a bad idea. Think of how many people
forget to put gas in their cars. When they’re on the ground, it’s fine the
car just stops moving forward. If that happened when that same person would
be in the air, gravity would make a mess out of the situation. The person
would surely die, and there might be more land casualties as well.
The V-PALL is like a car helicopter hybrid, just take off if you are in a

The way I see the future, some drivers don’t need roads :)
I think that flying cars are a good idea IF, they get a MV-22 Osprey design
because then, not only will you be able to travel quickly, you will need
less space to land, HOWEVER, you may need some more training which will
cost more.
what about floating cars that can drive on water cause I would thing it
would be so cool to live in an RV that drives itself and can be converted
into a small boat.

I would not call that a flying car either. It is a retry on a failed
invention. At least the plane part isn’t a detachable trailer like the
original.
I thought the idea of these plane cars is that you drive them to the
airport, transform and then use the runway to take off. Landing is the same
as you can only land in an airport then drive away from the airport.
If these things were VTOL like a drivable helicopter, that would be
different.
Well if you can’t have flying cars, then just make hover cars duh
I would fall out of the damn thing XD
I just think of how many bad drivers there are out on the roads and how bad
they do behave, now think how it will be if we let them up in the sky with

You’ve seen what drunk driving can do. Imagine drunk FLYING.
And even when it comes to self-driving cars, imagine what a technical issue
would do.
If you are hit by a car, you have some chances of still being alive after
it, but what if it falls on you from over 500ft high? What if it falls on
your house?
This really freaks me out.
Not to mention the fact that looking at the scenery will be much less
enjoyable. You look at a view (eg city+lake+mountains) and there are tons
of cars on the roads: ok, you can still enjoy it. You look at it and there
are cars everywhere in the sky: ruined!

You have to be cleared for take off
Well the type that are currently about are basically like guided missiles
from take off to touch down. The forward momentum is greater than any other
force. A drone style, fly-in-all-direction aircraft with a lower top speed
would be much safer, would cause significantly less damage towards anything
it may collied into and be much safer for the driver, passengers and
anyone/thing nearby. Flying cars will someday be in our future, if our
future is long enough. Who knows!?!?!
Speaking of Fuel, and the argument with Russia and Ukraine, what if we made
gyms wit those bikes that stay in place, and when you use them they produce
electricity. Then after you produce a certain amount of electricity the
bike will pay you a certain amount. The money makes people want to bike,
they will get excersize, and a few extra dollars. This could also help the
homeless. If Homeless go to this gym, if the pay rate on these bikes are
high enough, they can pay for food, to get energy, then bike again for more
food. Maybe there is even a small shop with cheap food at the gym so
Homeless don’t have to walk forever to get somewhere to buy food. I’m
thinking this idea is awesome, but still has a few wholes to patch-up. But
if we can have everything run on Electricity, and these gyms are producing
electricity, we won’t be burning fossil fuels, and we won’t be so dependent
on others who are lucky enough to happen to live on land that has oil. You
have to admit, this is a ruff, but good idea.

Flying a plane is actually pretty easy. The way the cockpit is designed is
that way so you can do three things at once, which is almost never done.
