First footage of ‘transformer’ flying car prototype lands in Austria
The latest prototype of a flying car has been drawing crowds at Pioneers Festival in Vienna. The vehicle may be on sale as early as 2017.
AeroMobil inventor and designer Stefan Klein says:
"We don't want to make a flying car or a road aircraft. We would like to make a new category. And this category is the same as a motorbike or car. We want to open a new vehicle which has the capability to be on the road as a non-handicapped car and in air as a non-handicapped aircraft, but it is necessary to open an absolutely new category."

Its not a flying car by any stretch of the imagination. Its a modified
glider at best. Is sure as hell would never pass any automobile safety
test-crash or otherwise. and I probably woudlnt pass too many aircraft
prototype test either.
im sure this cars will not go for sale on cities people might crash on

Finally – a flying car, is it terrafugia tf-x model? looks modified since
last year- but then….another problem , you cannot fly from a country to
another because of stupid politics(security check) when this will be
available for everyone

I don’t wish to be a nay sayer but, with airport security at its most
intense in aviation history (in case people use planes as weapons), what
would be the use of flying cars?
that is cool… however that looks tricky to land… won’t be good for
newbies…
Inventors of this car-plane are Slovakian guys so I am proud of them :-)

I believe the first of it’s kind in flying cars was made by Terafugia. Was
a flying VW bug looking contraption. This one is by far a better design n
model.
