F1 Motor-Racing Legend Schumacher in ‘Critical’ Condition

Internationally-renowned Formula One record-holder Michael Schumacher is in 'critical' condition in a French hospital, his agent says.
He had been on a private ski trip in the French Alps when he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste, according to a ski resort official.
The director of Grenoble Hospital Jean-Marc Grenier provides more information.
[Jean-Marc Grenier, Director of Grenoble Hospital]:
"I can confirm that Mr Schumacher is in our hospital since 13.30. He is currently being examined and his press attache will publish a statement very soon."
Formula One driver Olivier Panis stopped by the hospital.
[Oliver Panis, Former Formula One Driver]:
"Am I worried? As long as we don't know what he has.... I mean, I'm like you, I heard the news and as I am from the region I came to see him but as we can't see him... We'll see tomorrow."
Schumacher has been placed under the care of a brain and spine injury expert.
