It is in my opinion Ducatis are overrated and overpriced, I’d much rather
have a japanese budget superbike, just as much fun at a fraction of the
cost of this $65,000 Superleggera. This Superleggera is a collector bike
for the one-percenters to put on display in their mansion for eye candy and
never actually be ridden. Japanese bikes are made to be ridden hard and
still be reliable.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go buy a lottery ticket…

bang for buck “Panigale” power to weight go Leggera is another.Not a street
bike no turn signals/mirrors. I like it but not the “Cal Trans” orange
paint job. It should have been colored red-green-white or just red. ??? I
still like my Panigale after 2 years of riding it.

If I had this bike, I woud be too affraid to ride it on the road, ’cause it
could be stolen, and I wouldn’t dare to take it to a race track, because
one slide and I would have to live on bread and water for a year to pay for
the repairs :)
No denying this bike is awesome, but is it that much better than a ZX10 or
any other litre bike? Looks like a rich boys toy to me.
So the weight difference between this and the panigale is 25 lbs. That
means i save $1000 every time i take a dump!

have had 2, and no shit whatsoever. 35000km and 47000km. I then had s
Hayabusas, and now a ZX14. The Ducati, fro a handling point of view, is in
a class of it’s own. Love to own another, for the occasional ride, as they
are not comfortable, reason for my owning Hyabusas and Zx14. Jap bikes are
great, but a Ducati is special.

I’d like to know the average weight of the 500 riders who have ordered this
bike..
I’ve met 2 of the 500 Leggeras out there at our Ducati dealer and it’s
always a memorable experience.
It would be extremely intreresting if MCN could compare the 1199 panigale
superleggera to Desmosedici rr. I wonder what the outcome could be.

I am seeing large discrepencies in price for this guy. I have seen
60,000/65,000 USD as well as 54,000 Pounds… 54,000 pounds is
significantly more than 65,000usd. Is there really such a large difference
in price for different countries? Am I missing something?
Unlucky in life lol. You’d really have to be a diehard Ducati lover to buy
it. Cause the price of it is crazy. It’s all looks and nothing more.
I don’t want a racing bike. Lucky then, as I can’t afford it and there
aren’t any left. The price is a joke though.

The funny/sad thing is that there will only be 500 made and you know at
least 100 of the bikes will be laid down and wrecked at some point.
I love engineering for engineering sake and this is a piece of art the way

Torque is excellent and ducati possesed its own technology in term of road
safety. superlegerra does have it all. Even in Malaysia price range is more
than TOYOTA CAMRY or even honda accord.
