I’ve watched your videos. You deliberately wind the police up. Regardless
of your argument being right or wrong, you do it to feed your ego. You
don’t seem to understand that, even if what you say is right by law, in
most cases you’re wrong to create an awkward, argumentative, selfish scene.

honestly, I have had a sleepless night and I bumped into your videos. You
protest freedom of speech etc but you do not let others speak simply
because they are figures of authority, as you say, you are within the law,
but you are offensive and ignorant to others’ work and responsibilities.
Simply because you have the right to do something it doesn’t mean that you

Lack of respect for the people involved in the accident, deliberately
antagonistic and wasting police time. All of these videos where people try
and provoke a reaction from the police are getting incredibly tiresome. It

Cop was being a straight up cunt. Preach or the peace & s19 PACE would
never stand up in court and you could have made some money suing him.
That officer had every right to seize your camera if he wanted to, and
there would be nothing illegal about it. Section 19, Sub section 3 of PACE:
(3)The constable may seize anything which is on the premises if he has
reasonable grounds for believing—
(a)that it is evidence in relation to an offence which he is investigating
or any other offence.
I used to agree with your videos, but now you’re just rude to people who
protect us (whether you believe the police do or not is your own opinion).

Sorry this is just vile. My parents were involved in an RTA, and there were
people filming my Mum being taken out of the car on a stretcher. It might
be a “free country” but have some respect and leave families to deal with
this kind of thing in their own way. I’m sure this prat would be the first
to complain if filming was taking place while his family was suffering some
trauma, or rather the aftermath of.
I was shaking with anger watching this. Also, I can’t believe the amount of
comments calling him an idiot for exercising his/our right. At the end of
the day, the police are there to enforce “the law”, not decide what is or
is not moral. If he hasn’t broken the law, leave him alone.

Your whole argument (which I agreed with otherwise) goes right out the
window when you have to bring up the whole “nazi germany” thing. check your

You literally went so out of your way to start an argument. You were
insanely rude and were provoking them. You could’ve easily and calmly
debated the matter rather than being a dick
Some of this guys videos are pretty good, some not so. Some show the
police and country in a very bad light, some in a very good light. People
can watch for themselves and decide what falls into which category
respectively. In general though I think Charles does a good job.
But I am going to have to have the join the chorus of people criticising
the “Nazi Germany” comment. It’s a frankly ridiculous thing to say having
been asked to stop filming a serious road traffic accident, rightly or
wrongly. It almost seems to me like Charles is ‘cashing in’ on the herding
and execution of 6 million Jews and in upward of 5 million gypsies, Poles,
communists, prisoners of war, and mentally and physically disabled people
to further his own argument that it’s his right to film.
It’s made all the more bizarre by the fact you mention that you lived in
Saudi Arabia, a country where women mean little more than baby making, LGBT
rights are completely unrecognised, criminals are executed routinely
and…well, where to start and where to end. I’d have thought that
experiencing this social condition for real would make Charles or anyone
more sensitive than most as to when it is an isn’t appropriate to liken a
situation to being comparable to life in Nazi Germany.
And further still, by the end of this exchange, Charles seems to have taken
the police officer’s comments on board and to some extent agrees with them,
or at least no longer disagrees with them so much that he wishes to carry
on doing what they asked him not to do right from the start.
In general his work is pretty good but major, major faux pas on this
occasion, and looking at the comments it’s cost a lot of previous and
potential followers. The whole “Nazi Germany” thing seems to me to be
routinely used by people who promote the same kind of cause and agenda as
Charles and it just makes people think they’re talking a load of bull,
damaging rather than promoting their cause. It’s almost like a perfectly
nice guy offering to buy a girl a drink in a bar and her yelling “what the
fukk mate, this isn’t Josef Fritzl’s basement you know”. Rough and wrong.

Wow police are shit these days
Videos like this give a good reason to change the law regarding filming
emergency services. If a particular scene is still being investigated, all
pedestrian or unofficial filming should be prohibited or at least
restricted. Stay out of their damn way and let them get on with their
jobs.Don’t make a scene over some bullshit freedom rights. The victims of
the accident have rights as well. They take priority, not a muppet with a
camera.
Well done, good persistence and good that you calmed down and educated
these authoritarian robots.
