Absolute Alberta! 2015 Nissan GT-R Black Edition Flies Thru Canadian Rockies! – Epic Drives Ep. 30
When one of the world’s most outrageous sports cars arrives in one of the most dramatic and picturesque settings on earth — Canada’s Alberta Province — a high-octane journey is guaranteed. But host Arthur St. Antoine does much more than simply wring-out this very special GT-R. While exploring the Canadian Rockies, he delves deep into a cave, climbs a glacier in a huge snow coach, takes several wide-eyed passengers on full-throttle launch-control blasts, and even tries out Nissan’s ultimate speed machine in “ranch” mode! It’s a round-up you won’t want to miss!

I loved the episode, just don’t like the way this dude delivers lines. He
makes everything sound so scripted.
I’m guessing Breitling are probably one of the sponsors along with Nissan,
the hotel restaurant he visited and possibly even the Canadian tourist
board. If sitting through a few gratuitous shots of his watch and a couple
of minutes plugging a business means we get a well produced 20 minute video
then I’m all for it… I mean what’s the alternative? Paying for content
like Drive+? No thanks. Besides, it’s no worse than the product placement
that pays for almost every major Hollywood movie these days.
If sponsors help keep quality youtube content free, we need to support the
channels who are doing their best to avoid subscription based services.
Keep up the great work Motor Trend.
I live in Calgary Alberta and I have been to almost all these places. They
are all kind of lame, this video makes it look way more interesting than it
is.
Toyota supra mk4 and gtr are my favourite cars
Epic Drives: the #Nissan GT-R explores Alberta:
18:04 minutes of story telling and 3 minutes of showing off the car, no
thank you. Might as well do what the people over on the Drive channel which
is almost as bad if not worse.
2015 GT-R Black Edition….
Next road trip should be the 911 GT3
9:05 LMAO, wonder how that man learned to use the whip so well. He’s like a
pro slave master
I love driving my GT-R! :)
subtle Breitling all over the place :D
turn on subtitles and go to 1:03 … won’t regret it…
my dream is to one day own a GT-R and travel travel travel. I’ve been to
that glacier, it was a hell of a trip!
amazing countryside. reminds me of my homeland NZ.
I’m glad this is my backyard. I did that exact cave tour last summer. So
much fun. That rappel into the dark hole was intense since you couldn’t see
the bottom. Alberta and BC are beautiful.
Canadian Rockies are a great setting for a car video, but why the GTR??
Should’ve focused on a sexier, more exciting car……Nissan GTR is about
as interesting as a box of rocks.
i love this VIDEO
god damn I moved from calgary to sask. shortly after this episode was
released, watching it now brings back so many memories of cruising through
banff and up to the ice fields in my dads crown-vic. now I just want
nothing more than to go back!!
8:00 so that’s where TopGear got the to herd cattle with a GTR idea from…
Alberta boy born and raised. Glad to have this part of the country get a
bit more recognition. Come again.
You came to my province!!! Best. Episode. Ever.
How many shots of his expensive watch do we need?
what happen to his finger after one night?! by that girl, or by the gtr XP
woo home province! come back motor trend!
Thanks for showcasing my hometown Calgary, loved your video and captured
Calgary and Alberta very well.
The subtitles cracked me up!
Wow! An Aussie in Canada what a fucking shock! Just like Whistler!
When is the next episode coming out???
19:37 “Bring a great car, like my Nissan GTR Black Edition”
I guess everybody in this world have a Nissan GTR in their garage xD
I enjoyed this episode. People hating are GT-R fan boys that rage whenever
people aren’t spending every second praising the car that they don’t own.
I can’t help but cringe every time a American pronounces it Knee-san
I live in Alberta :D
these subtitles are sooo bad!
he says: strap in for an epic drive. The captions say: strapping porn epic
dry at 1:03
Alberta is beautiful, but I would also suggest a trip to British Columbia.
It will take your breath away.
Very nice Sir. Love the story the sites the car and you on it
Idk why people dislike this
@ 1:51 you mean AWD? come on your reviewing a car and you don’t know the
difference between 4wd and awd!?
Amazing beautiful landscape and wildlife will be gone if people keep
driving cars like the GTR
The greatest ever”” Nissan GTR..
Bc is way nicer
happiness
Art, you’re a talented journalist and obviously experienced adventurer.
This report is for Epic Drives, not cattle drives. Spelunking, bar hopping
and glacier touring would play great on the Discovery Channel. The audience
here are auto enthusiasts. We want to see and hear why the GT-R makes this
drive special. What you’ve presented would have likely played pretty much
the same in a VW Beetle. A great opportunity to film a tremendous episode
was for the most part wasted. You can do better, and that goes the same for
Motor Trend.
Who did the subtitles? lol, i could have done a better job and i`m a swiss
national :-)
So many roads, so little time… Thanks for the video, was pretty awesome!
I really enjoyed your show! Good work!
whats that on his finger 14.26
I live in calagary and i gotta say alberta is pretty bare except for the
mountains
Brilliant brilliant show!! Best watched on a big screen
