• Tesla continues to dominate the EV headlines with consumer reports saying its the best car they've ever tested. Some politicians have called Tesla an outright loser probably because it doesn't use oil as it's main fuel source and they took a loan from the government which they now plan on paying back years earlier. They also had their first quarterly profit in history which helped their stock price recently soar. One drawback of the Tesla review was that you have to plug it in every couple hundred miles.
• The Transition flying car inches closer to production. This 2 seat road worthy aircraft has had delays. Its unusual design allows you to drive it like a car, fill it up with unleaded gas and park it in your garage. My concern is, since it is an aircraft, small fender benders on the road might end up grounding the plane and costing you a lot in repairs.
• China is building the world's tallest building called SkyCity. It will be a pre-fab building that will be erected onsite in 90 days. It will be about 30 feet taller than the Burj skyscraper in Dubai. A person can live their entire life in SkyCity which is over a half a mile tall. There will be a school, a hospital, office space and a million square feet of organic vertical farms. SkyCity will house about 30,000 people and supposedly it can handle a 9.0 earthquake.

Some say no one will ever even live in it…
Lol. Sky City? What a complete and utter joke. It’ll end up yet another
Ghost city. And the flying car will probably end up being a hobby, just
like 3D printing continues to be today.
Love your news updates! Thanks for the upload.
I predict “Sky City” will be condemned in 30 years.
90 days sounds crazy, they’ll have about 20,000 workers….
A roadable aircraft would give some savings in hangar fees assuming the
owner had the space on their own lot. But for the money people rich enough
for it could probably decide to live in a airport community with a share
landing strip instead of a common alley way.
Go Tesla!
I hope they have building experience….
The prefab parts are being built in 4 months, onsite building is 3 months.
Thanks for the comment….
Wow – Sky city sounds pretty wild.
90 days…anybody want to bet on construction delays?
I can’t believe China is building the worlds tallest building in 3 months.
The one in Dubai took years.
amazing love those electric cars
Those ghost cities are great job creators to prevent social unrest in
China….
If it is made of prefabricated elements it is really only being assembled
in 90 days. Who knows how long it takes to assemble the individual modules
in a factory setting. I actually like the idea of not having to drive
anywhere and walking to my local elevator to get to work. 10 minute commute
that could in theory be done in stocking feet.
Sky city sounds interesting, but can the quality control really be that
good with a 90 day building schedule?
The plane/car is cool. Remember they tried that with a boat/car and it
flopped
I love Tesla, amazing company.
So 3 months shorter than it took to build the Empire State on site. Nice.
Wow interesting video
Oh yeah, James Bond type stuff….
Often adding more people to a project just delays it more.
Chinese building codes…. We’ll if people move in there this fall after
it’s done.
