Wow I’m actually quite surprised that Yamaha managed to unseat the Beemer,
great stuff. :O
R1 I will own you
bmw 2nd after it gets spanked on the track…. and youre argumet is “it`s
beter then the panigale on the street” then why not put 2nd the kawasaki (
beter on the street, cheaper AND FASTER then the bmw by 1tehnth of a
second) the price of the bmw should give you the performance comparable to
the panigale and r1!
Wow n it sounds like Rossi` bike!!! !!
R1 is back like it was in 1998.
Nice!!!! Anyone who watches MotoGP knows, Yami can make a mean modern track
weapon! I’m hoping Yamaha comes out with an FZ based on that crossplane
though. Great review! Only thing was the video quality seemed low, even in
HD. No biggie though, you guys have made huge strides!
Other Tester’s/magazines, and Bike site will get all different results.
Look at the Horsepower on that BMW,,it’s SICK !!!! overall, I’ll put my $$$
on the BMW
I suspected this might be the case .. I have to say I’m pleased that the
BMW has finally been beaten .
+AdjrianNickelodeon You’ll be so so much happy! I am i know!
HONDA!!! WAKE THE F**K UP!! Make us Honda Fan Boys Proud! Since 2008 Honda
has been focusing only on sub 600cc bikes which are not even the best,
actually not even competitive, compared to other manufacturers however
Honda does provide the largest variety now. Save up some money Honda and
make us proud with some mind-blowing 600cc/1000cc bikes in the near future!
Hey, +RidingWithTom… Eat a dick!! Then get a real bike!! XD haha!
Now that She(R1) is a winner and a great bike on the Streets as well, +
CycleCruza When are you buying one 😉 ?
Haha I read some of the comments below and a couple of people asked why you
did not include the Kawasaki H2. I think they have a point, This is a
Street legal super bike comparison test so even if a bike does not meet the
sbk regulations just like the Panigale 1299 S it should be included in the
Comparison. Maybe you could not get hold of one but that should be
explained in the video just like you did with the Rsv4 and MV 😀
By the way, Gratts for being the first on Youtube to test those machines :D
when is Suzuki going to release a new sport bike, i love Suzuki but i may
have to get a Yamaha if they don’t do something
*2015 Yamaha R1 better than BMW S1000RR and rivals…?*
*…and the winner is…*
In 2014 Qualifying in Jerez, if this new R1 was on the grid with the Moto3
riders it would have come in second to last place in qual.
lol
How come no Kawa H2?
On the street the 10r should’ve been in front of the Ducati. I mean you
said its uncomfortable, and said a few things that kills its street ride
ability. But as expected, k-power still kills m-junk on the track. Bmw
sucks. The new rsv4 will kill it also.
All the bike’s are amazing with amazing capabilities and look stunning and
would love to buy one, but for me though if it was my money I would buy the
gsxr 1000 because it’s cheaper to buy, service and run.
why isn’t the h2 in the test
The Ducati has 20 ft/lb torque over the other bikes? Really?
That must really squirt out of corners.
How come you exclude the KTM RC 8?
Interesting comparo. I own a BMW HP4; however, i am very impressed by the
Yamaha R1 and R1M.
The 1299 Wow just Wow
I actually agree but here in Australia the best bang for buck is the zx10r
though I love the new r1
Now, Honda and Suzuki have to come out with better bikes with electronics.
Kawi has a good TC and power but no QS which could easily be installed.
It;s good to hear the R1 has ripped a hole in the BMW but the beemer has
Cruise/ auto blipper/ time lane limiter (would be hilarious for street use)
which would be fun to toy around with. The Gale is an amazing machine. The
RSV4 will most likely take the crown of all these bikes. They should do
dealer support with these tests. LOL. Aprilia would be last.
Not really fair to have a 1299 compared to these bikes. It costs way way
more. Should be comparing it to r1m and hp4. Which are both cheaper and
will beat it by even more than the standard models. Ducatis are beautiful
but you pay for it.
I’d rather have the 1299, and have the 1299 I shall.
On the street there is nothing between these bikes, making the Suzuki seem
the best value; it’s £11,000 compared to the £15,000 R1, so if money is an
issue I know what i’d be buying!
To all asking, the H2 is not in the same class as these bikes. It’s much
heavier, and provides a totally different feel.
Hell no! I had a BMW HP4 and now i have the Ducati 1299 Panigale and the
Panigale is much better on the road and on the track! No complains about
“butt hurting” or “heat issus”!!!! The build quality is better, the gearbox
smoother, the electronics better! Pani > s1000rr
Saving up for the Yamaha ima cry when I get her
is this vid means H2 belong to another class?
Thank you MCN i have been waiting for this! Im very surprised to see the
S1000RR bested by the ZX10R …. though i wonder….. different track…
different results? The new R1 looks a very appealing machine now. They
(Yamaha) took there damn time…. but the wait seams to have been worth it.
bmw maffia ! yamaha maffia !! anything beating the duc must be or on
steroids or good in bribin . who operated the stopwatch ?
Being a Honda fan, i’m…. they dnt have anything exiting in any segment..
150 or 1000cc.. everyone says the bikes r good but nobody buys them.. the
competition has moved on but they r still stuck somewhere else… they only
good point is that they r winning in Motogp, marquez, ofcourse.. if he is
not there, not a single bike will win.. why why why… nwys loved the
video…
When every one else was sleeping, Yamaha was making a bike…
I told you all so!! When pics of the new r1 came..most hated it as if they
were some motorcycle guru that knows everything. Everybody jump on the hate
bandwagon to hate the R1. I am not a great fan of the R1 but i knew asia
can make a bike equal to or even better the euro bikes. Where the fuck are
the haters now!!!
Reiterberger Almeria 1,35,2 BMW S1000RR
Neukirchner Almeria 1,37.5 Yamaha R1
Anscheinend wird bei Euch anders gefahren…
And a Boss Hoss v8 will smash them all and look good doing it instead of
these plastic Japanese (or Japanese copies) motorcycles
Still keepin 12′ zx10r! Might add one more….
well if the first moto gp is any imput, rossi won the first !!
Zx10r? Why not the h2? It may be supercharged but it’s still kawasakis top
bike atm?
2015 Yamaha R1 better than BMW S1000RR and rivals? | Group Test
Kawasaki H2?
It seems that the conditions in that particular test were a bit too much
for realistic results, as MCN claim. But, those power figures really make
me wonder. Just the other week I read in the Finnish Motorrad edition the
2015 superbike review on all of those bikes, and, in that magazine the
numbers were quite different. I have a 2012 BMW s1000rr, but IF I were to
buy a superbike now without any previous experience on any of them, which
numbers should I trust? The Motorrad dyno gave the BMW a staggering 206
bhp (factory promises 199 bhp) and Ducati reached 205 (and the list goes
on, R1 200, RSV4 RR 201) whereas MCN reaches only 196 and bits… In my
point of view, one should be able to test the potential bike on track
before making any decision which one to buy because, obviously, the numbers
cannot be trusted… Does anyone else find this odd?
good reviews I like mcn.
