Now that they’ve put multiple superchargers around here AND they announced
the AWD model, I can finally justify having one in Montana. I still need to
save up the money for one (gonna take a few years), but my wife is now
fully aware it’s on the docket for the future. :D

Dan Erlich says:

I LOVE the Tesla, it is ALMOST the perfect car with perhaps one exception
which is the heating system in cold weather driving which robs too much
range. A friend has one and we did a road trip in cold weather and had to
shut down cabin heat to do the trip and yes we used the heated seats
instead. What makes sense is to add an espar diesel hydronic heater to
the car with a one or two litre tank for cold weather cabin heating to
preserve range. It just makes no sense to use resistance heating in your
home or in your car as it is wasteful of energy. Using electric power for
propulsion is incredibly efficient – and using small quantities of fuel for
heating is also incredibly efficient. Each has a purpose and making best
use of the available efficient use of energy simply makes good sense.

For all the enthousiasts out here: they have started building the giga

” #Gigafactory “ #Tesla baut riesige Batteriefabrik in Nevada

#Governor #Sandoval Twitter @GovSandoval:
We have reached an agreement with Tesla Motor Company.
Gigafactory confirmed for Nevada.

Produktion ausweiten. Eine gewaltige Batterie-Fabrik ist in Planung. Doch

Alex Berney says:

All credibility was lost when this guy said in the beginning “it’s a good
thing you have stability control because you just get these big sideways
movements” does the fella even know what a drift is? Or is he trying to be
punctual? Either way I don’t believe anything he says

Tires will wear out too quickly because of the weight….deal breaker!

Nathan Day says:

oil is running out but sometimes the noise of a car saves lives

Jason Wou says:

Actually the Tesla is mechanically a very simple car. that’s what impresses
me the most. No gearbox, No engine/emission related parts. No oil, filter,
plugs, etc. You need tires, wiper blades and washer fluids, and firmware
updates. Incredible.

jose larios says:

The future is here i will love a suv electric tired of this gas hugs way to
go elon musk god bless you

Gary Cross says:

I was an electric car skeptic until I tried the Tesla S. Why weren’t we
driving these these all along? This is superior technology! These days,
when I hear a noisy “performance” exhaust system on a very expensive
European car as it grinds and roars its way through so many intricate
gears, built around torque limitations, I laugh. How long will it take
before we look back on the best gasoline cars like we do now on two
thousand dollar console television sets with built-in cordless phones?

Jason Lee says:

haha. 1 speed automatic. nice! I like it

Short and nice review of ModelS.

One day. One day…

Karen Warseck says:

I drove one today and I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic car!

ZaneTheGreat says:

I like the Model S, I just don’t like the fake plastic looking grill. I
think they should have some wind powered generator in there that generates
power back to your battery while you drive, that way you can drive further,
and can have a proper grill!

Aman Panesar says:

why did he say car 3.0 , why not 2.0 , i think he probably thinks a hybrid
would be 2.0

Rishab Gangopadhyay says:

Best demonstration of the Model S’s superiority: every review I have ever
seen of it praises it for being a fantastic car without even mentioning the
main aspect of an electric car (not paying for gas).

Maria Angelova Cerah says:

As soon as they come out with the $35,000 version of Model S, I am getting
one!!!!! ;-)

Teddie Kossof says:

what a great ride…yes i hope to have one some day..

Matt Miller says:

Khalil Missaoui says:

Micheal Ulner says:

We all wanna help the environment and all, but for 90,000 bucks we wanna
brag about what’s under the hood. For that money I wouldn’t wanna tell
people im driving with a crap load of laptop batteries strapped under my
car.
