These people care as much about the collector car hobby as anyone. Like
drag racing, entry fees cover prize money, which pay spots in all four
classes. For most racers, this is the trip of a lifetime. Most dream
vacations don’t aren’t $4,500. Many racers get their home towns to sponsor
their costs, students raise money for their x-cup class entries also, to
make it happen. Many of these people work year round to compete and
experience Great Race. Yeah it’s expensive, but but there’s a reason.
this is obviously a race for the rich with entry fees running 4500
bucks!!WTF!! the world does not give a damn about the rest of us who cannot
afford to have a classic car hobby.
