Better than the launch model, but I still don’t know why you would choose
this over a Tiger 800 or 1050.
Great! First review and you guys managed to completely screw up the audio!
If you keep going this route, the “unsubscribe” button looks increasingly
attractive!
Oh I see you’ve bought some filters for Final Cut then. Shame the audio,
just sucks so much. I can’t believe you just don’t try at all. “Oh that’ll
do, it’s only audio no one can hear”
That audio is so fucked. Do you guys not have a quality control process, or
do you just upload any old shite? It seems you do.
I would take a Tiger 800 over this any day.
great review. On the audio side of things let me give some pointers because
you guys are almost there. Don’t use a filter over the whole audio track as
a whole. Like the one single bounced audio with one filter. Instead treat
each audio track individually. For instance the voice uses unfilter, the
music track uses nothing, and the motorcycle sound should be treated for
wind noise (not in this case). Also side chain the motorcycle frequencies
so that it stands out in comparison to the music. Bounce that audio file
down and use an image expander to check for phasing, eq and a bit of
compression. Upload that and your audio will be as shiny as your video.
Can’t wait for the next vid. And as always I can help and would love too
The sound on the video is terrible. Please look into it. It actually ruins
the video
This is Honda trying to be different, probably a good commute machine for
everyday use
Honda’s version of Kawasaki’s Verseys …yawn ..
How can such a big company screw up video up so bad. MCN videos always have
sub par audio, does nobody check this sort of stuff (editor
maybe)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
doesn’t this bike deserve a little more than 2:45 min?
Stopped the video half-way thru because I couldn’t make out what you were
saying. Had the volume at max on my phone and it was still inaudible.
MCN, the range of quality of your albeit short videos varies wildly as per
tester, and it’s a bit of a free for all to be honest. I understand there
must be some limitations that will be imposed on yourselves, but at least
try to have level of consistency. I get the feeling every tester has to
create their own videos, whereas like competitors a solid media editor
could be beneficial to delivering the high standard you set in your printed
reviews and magazines. I say this as a regular buyer of your publication.
respect to the camera man, that zoom/rack focus was terrific!
I think the new cb500x will look like this in couple of years?
disappointing sound on this vid. Somewhere on any bike review, i want to
hear the engine. Please note, MCN!
These are sport ute bikes like the Ducatis and BMWs, great bikes but ugly
as sin. I wouldnt ride one if you gave it to me.
C’mon MCN, sort your audio out please… It’s been iffy for a long time
now, surely there’s someone to ask for advice on how to tackle these
issues?? If you could fix the audio, the quality of your videos would be so
much better!
Another Honda commercial, that’s all I can say. This “review” is very Honda
Corporation friendly, not riders friendly. Sad…
I am not sure whether the presenter is speaking or gargling ?
Less lame music more bikes sounds please.
Another great quality video, MCN. Great shots, professional equipment. Keep
it up.
Just proves that triumph was ahead of every one else when the tiger 1050
was launched.
