I was expecting more racing footage, like Randy actually driving the R8 and
R18 for extended periods of time. Maybe some cinematic shots while he was
driving. This seemed like more of a focus on the documentation of the
experience (which was great as well)
Waiting for Evo’s review by Dickie Meaden…Randy just can’t deliver

You didnt tell us how the R18 drives. You only talked about the GT car and
then just said that the R18 does some things good, some in a frustrating
way. So….
Randy Pobst is the Hugh Hefner of cars… I still don’t understand why they
decided to use a diesel engine
As a Real Car Guy I don’t like this car as it’s not a Pure Driving Car. It
should have a manual transmission, a cart-sprung, solid rear axle, and a
big block, pushrod V8. I can’t believe Audi have got it so wrong, they must
be a bunch of really stupid faggots. They’re never going to win anything
with this car, it’s just too gay !!!!
Yep the Audi R18 E tron is great.But I thought the 3.7 V6 TDI got 510hp and
625lb/ft of torque?? The inlet is around 45.8mm which cost maybe 5% power
off. The turbo boost must set at 2 bar. It’s actually a RWD, the front
wheel will power up at 120+km/h and the fly wheels gain 500kj of energy and
spin at 45,000 rpm. The E motor will generate up to 200+hp in my memory. It
uses a system called MGC and it’ll recharge whenever the driver brakes. For
me, I think the 610hp TFSI V8 is better. 100 bar injection force and 8%
better in terms of fuel economy which gain 1 more lap per tank. Audi build
good race cars but can’t build good track cars 🙁 Actually, I think Audi’s
motors are far better than both Gallardo and Huracan V10. R8 should quit
using those V10s and start using there own TFSI.

where is the 0-60, the figure 8 and all that stuff?
This is not a car for car guys, it’s a car for racers.
When you make a video about a car this technologically advanced it would
good to include include numbers on 0- 60, lateral g, top speed, drag
coefficient, etc.
I could watch Randy do his own show man, he’s so chill haha and you can see
he knows what he’s talking about when he’s driven the cars and it’s purely
from a track perspective. Which is great! It annoys me having all these
guys going on a track to drive a street car goin ooooh this cars 0.2
seconds quicker on the track and it goes sideways boss. Yea but 99.8% of
the people buying them will never see a track so er what’s it actually like
as car to drive on the road. Randy’s assestments on track are great because
it’s all about how it feels and the cars actual dynamics no BS based on
brand preference etc. Not sure where that rant came from lol
worth $30M but you still have to look through the windshield wiper…
Too bad FIA electronic equipments messed up one of Toyota’s LMP1 Toyota
TS040 Hybrid at 2014 Le Mans. Would have been a more interesting race
between Porsche, Audi, and Toyota.

clips, not sound like an r18 at all?

2014, used to be limited by engine size, cylinder number and air intake,.
The only real regulation governing engine performance now is fuel flow.
when this was racing at le mans how many mpg was it getting around?
So this car is going to the museum after this, does it give a hint that
Audi is pulling out of lemans? Or because this is a 2014 car?

Its a great car,and a LeMans winner,but anyone who would expect to see this
car bring $30M is a fool! LOL! If u look at current winning race car
results from Audi,etc,it would bring $3M-$5M.

Sick. Wow. Car is amazing, the hosts were great, but most of all the
videographers and the editors AMAZING, great vid guys.
I find it laughable that Americans even think they can build race cars let
alone any car on level with Germans Japanese and other European
manufacturers.
Diesel are faster than you can realize. Lots of torque, Gale Banks can give
you knowledge on it along with Audi, Mercedes Benz. Alongside with Hybrid
technology that is probably the future of racing.
$30 million…I’d be scared to leave a fingerprint on it. Thanks for

That low revving torquey sound is deceiving! I prefer that over high
